An engagement party is planned for Gaynor and Mason at Chiswick Sailing Club - however, the night before, two brothers were executed at point blank range in Crystal Palace.

These are 31-year old Francis Blum, and 28-year old Maurice Blum.

Mason is prime suspect and a manhunt ensues with Det. Inspector Cattell and Det. Sgt. Saif Saddhiqi of London's Metropolitan Police leading the investigation.

The party has 300 guests arrive - however, neither Mason nor Gaynor turn up.

Gaynor's dad goes looking for Mason - however, he has gone.

Mason has put his trust in Angie's husband Pat to run his new business and as part of Mason's thinking, Pat asks Teddy Layne to be his number two.

This is the start of Pat and Angie's new life.
